So I played with my make up and hair and camera and webcam for like an hour and a half and this is some of the stuff i came up with. i tried on leotards and dresses too but those pics arent on my comp yet. i even made a hair bow. :-)

i got my roots done today and decided that tonight im gonna play dress up and make up and be lady gaga to see if its a possible halloween costume. ill take pics and see what everyone thinksssss!

I had a fun weekend. The Blackhawks won their game I went to with my parents on Friday. It was close and I think they'll have a rough season without Khabi, but it'll still be fun to go. IF I ever get to go with the new job. IF I ever start. :-) I still haven't gotten my training times yet and have played phone tag with the guy or guys that is/are supposed to be scheduling me...I'm calling tomorrow if I don't hear anything later tonight. I went to Northern for the football game Saturday and got to officially tailgate. Last time I went we didn't really tailgate...this time we were outside that stadium "tailgating." It was fun. I saw old friends and even though Northern lost it was a good time. Then Karen, Annie and I decided to have our own bar crawl thru downtown Dekalb and end at Molly's followed by food from F & J's and stopping by some people's houses we know. Yesterday I came home pretty early and did nothing the whole day besides watch the Bears game and go out to eat for my parents/grandparents anniversaries. woo woo. I had PT this morning and it went pretty well. I think I still have 10 more sessions to go and possibly more after that. I hope its feeling better after this. Ugh. OTH and Greek are on tonight, and I'm kinda excited. If you haven't watched this video yet...you should. it's not me...for once. and its amaZing. I'd say better than Lady Gaga.

I had an interview at the Grotto Italian Steakhouse in Oak Brook today and I got the job, so I have to call on Saturday to set up training times. wooo. woo. now I have to study the menu and learn all about wine, since I pretty much know nothing. I sometimes forget which ones are red and white. uh oh. I also started physical therapy today and it was just an eval and she gave me some stretches to do and said she was gonna work the shit out of it on Monday. eek. Blackhawks game tomorrow and NIU fball game saturday. fun weekend ahead. end of a good week!

Glee

i thought it was hilarious tonight. probably the best episode of the season so far. I wish I woulda had more time when i met them to talk to them, but from the little conversation they made, they were all really nice. i just realized mark salling (my fav) stole a look i wore out in june. he wore this when i met him in august at orland park mall. o well. i like that me and him can be twins.

dreams...

i had 2 weird dreams last night that i remember parts of...

1. i was going to the circus. my dad got me and whoever i was going with, who i can't remember, the tickets and they were supposed to be good seats, and we got there late and we ended up being in like the last row and the seats were on the ground basically, so we couldnt see. thats all i remember of that one.

2. the other...i was on a cruise, it was a really different cruise ship, but SUPER tall. so this woman decided she needed her husband, who apparently worked on the ship to do her laundry, but she wanted to tell him, and he was in an employees only area, and she decided to go into this area...so another employee thought she was trying to hijack the ship or something and hit an emergency button that makes everyone get into the lifeboats. but people were just jumping off the really tall ship. so i jumped. but the boat was sailing through a canal type thing so we werent really in the middle of the ocean and it wasnt that scary...but the lifeboats started dropping in a line, and people were grabbing onto them but not getting in them. and then all of a sudden i was holding onto the very first lifeboat that dropped and someone told me to hold on, and all the boats whipped back up to the boat and i was like flying and then i flew thru a tree and branches and i felt like tinkerbell.

what weird dreams. is anyone a dream analyst that can tell me what these mean? i'd appreciate it.

dinner at amalfi's tonight. mmmm. can't wait. got a cortisone shot yesterday in my ankle. it feels a little better, and physical therapy starts on thursday. 3 times per week. eeee. i think i'll go back to the village soon to make some extra cash til i find something.

p.s. this girl is ridic. how can u be this good?

weekend recap.

what a weekend. thursday night karen and i went and saw the Mathletes in DeKalb and even though there werent a lot of people it was awesome! then we decided to go out afterwards and ended up going to a house party and then to starbusters...which made for a late but fun night. friday i drove home and then took a nap that kinda sucked cuz i got a cold and couldnt breathe...and then friday night i went for a ride along with a police officer in north aurora. it was sooooo much fun. this is a realistic career option for me, seeing as i still havent found anything. we only wrote one speeding ticket the whole night but i got to hang out with all the officers and they were so amusing and funny and great people. i hope that i will be able to do that again soon! saturday...me and aileen went to fuddruckers for lunch cuz its probably my favorite restaurant of all time. what a fat ass. and then i ended up going to the lodge to see 7th heaven with my parents. it was fun, from what i remember, but the end of the night became a blur...but i still had fun. :-) so overall id say i had a successful weekend. tomorrow i finally get to go to the orthopedic doctor to look at my ankle, and hopefully we can figure out whats wrong with it. i feel like shes jsut gonna say that i havent been doing any therapy on it so it lost all its flexibility and this is going to be a pointless drive, but it really has been hurting more than usual lately. ughhh. then when i get back i have to clean the bathroom and make some follow up calls about jobs. i really hope i find something soon...my life is becoming a bore. check the new links to my twitter and youtube on the side. they should work! i'll try and write again soon!

so i am soo annoyed with the insurance i ended up getting at the end of the school year. i actually got dropped off my dads blue cross blue shield the day i graduated so i re applied for that, but got denied because of my broken ankle not being fully healed. so then i applied for another company and i got denied for the same reason. so my mom got something in the mail for a post grad temporary insurance so i applied for that and didnt have to give them any background info, and now im stuck. i cant go to the doctor for my ankle because it doesnt cover pre-existing injuries. i wanna go to the dermatologist and thats considered a physicians visit, and in order for me to be covered for that i have to get a referral from a regualr physician which i dont have. and i DONT NEED. i KNOW i need to go to the dermatologist, i dont need a referral. so now im going to have to pay for 2 dr's appts instead of only 1, and probly still have to pay a big deductible cuz this insurance is retarded. never again. i basically have to be on my death bed for this $1000 worth of insurance for 6 months to be effective, and even THEN i am only allowed one ambulance ride to and from the hospital. ridiculous. o and it doesnt cover dental either, but who would have expected it with all the exclusions it already includes. i havent been to the dentist last summer, but no big deal, my teeth will just rot. no big deal. so its been an annoying day. and im still job searching. no word on bally yet.

Day 2...

So. 2nd blog entry. not sure what to write about since my life is SO boring right now. Still job searching, although I'm waiting to hear back from Bally to see if I got a job as a personal trainer, cuz im SO qualified. ha. This afternoon I don't know what to do. Let me know if you have suggestions. or if you're as bored as I am...watch this vid...cuz it somehow got over 200 views in less than 2 days?? i dont know how...

The beginning.

So I decided to start this blog today, because 1. a lot of people have been doing it lately and i like reading what other people have to say...so maybe people will want to read what i have to say. 2. i am getting bored of myspace/facebook/twitter/youtube all the time, so i thought...why not add another tab to the 9 tabs i already have opened at a time? 3. i give in to peer pressure and follow the bandwagon...all the things we were taught in DARE in 5th grade...but since everyone's doing it...i will too. it's not a drug, though most friends agree that i do have an internet addiction problem. it's kind of embarrassing/sad that i spend so much time on the internet, but when i have no full time job/career yet and most of my friends are in school or do...what else is there really to do? i can only job search for so long before getting tired.

Plans for tomorrow include turning in an application at Bally, where i had an interview on friday that went well, minus the fact that i dont really have a clue when it comes to knowing what exercised to do to work certain muscle groups, or what the ideal percentages of fat, protein, and carbs are for a healthy diet. but if i got the job it would be something that i would like doing as opposed to an office job which i am avoiding at all costs. lets see...more plans for tomorrow...i have to go to the mall, and then look into a few different websites for more jobs that ive heard about. maybe it will be a nice day and i can wash my car or lay out for one of the few nice days that we have left of this shitty summer.

me and aileen have the most ridiculous videos, but i am convinced that one day I WILL be famous from a youtube video. it's happened to so many people...why can't it happen to me? there are videos from concerts, driving in the car, dancing, and other random things, you just have to watch to really understand. i think that's all for now. i'm going to bed. i had a long weekend of waiting then a football game and somehow got into a a jello wrestling competition then driving around and finally falling asleep and waking up pretty early...talk to you tomorrow? :-)
